Does anyone remember a while back about October or November when Nintendo released a little tidbit about a game periphrial to be released. Details were sketchy at best, but we were informed it was not the successor of the N64, but it would greatly change the video game industry forever.
Well, Nintendo has just let out some more info on this mysterious LiDo 239. NCL (Nintendo of Japan) has been talking to Kyocera Corp., which is a electronic manufacturer in Japan. Well, word is that Nintendo is working on an electronic satelite gaming system. Supposedly they are working in conjunction with St. Giga (a satelite music company in Japan) on this project. The LiDo, like Nintendo said is not the N64's successor, but it will add-on (great, another add-on) to a system. Whether it is the N64 or not is of now undetermined. The great thing is Nintendo already has some experience in this are. In other words, we won't be guinea pigs to this stuff. They ran a satellite gaming thing before for the 16 bit Super Famicom. Nintendo also claims not only will games be available but also, hints, music, and a lot more. A somewhat of an internet experience. Perhaps it will also become the successor of the internet. Nintendo sure has their sights in the right direction.
